Scattered? I know what you mean.

Every day I get up with a list of stuff I’m going to blog about…and every day I get slammed when I open my email or turn on the news.  I should probably tackle the blog before my good thoughts are tsunamied. Today was one of those days when one thing led to another and another until I was so far away from my immediate goals I couldn’t see or recall them…I think I’ve caught up and actually managed to do a bunch of other things in the process…I haven’t gotten dressed yet, and may not at this rate.

In any case I have a very busy schedule.  Three of my back list books are with a new publisher. That’s exciting! And I’m adding a new pseudonym to this website and separating my super erotic romance from my other romance writing. To use an example, Hot Highland Fling is a romance but the story is about the sexual journey of the heroine. I’m going to publish those under author name E.L. March so you know what to expect. they don’t come with a warning but I don’t want my erotic romance disappointed if  the book they pick up with my name on the cover is on the tamer side. Eliza March will still write sizzling romance, but the story won’t revolve around the sex, like Witch of Air and Fire where the lives of the characters depend on the consummation to break a spell.

Next week, if I can get back here, I’d like to share a few new works coming up this year. The work in progress is A Witch’s Tale from the As the Chair Turns series. Frankie and Delia are still trading quips while Aelric is just trying to keep his intended alive.  I’m hoping for a late spring release … a cover will be coming soon! You gotta love this salon for the truly weird, the innocent bystanders and the sexy hairdresser with a determination to seduce the heroine. This book has it all, suspense, comedy and something a little like romance.

I was going through a bit of a supernatural reading slump until I came across this fun, little story. The characters draw you in to the story just like you’re chatting with your best gals and I couldn’t get enough. The salon setting finally validated what I always thought- that hairdressers know how to work a little magic. With a plethora of supernatural characters that endear you to them as if they’re old friends you might run into on the street, I’m looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
Anne C Stevens 5.0 out of 5 stars I Can’t Wait For Book 2!
This book is a fabulous, fun read. From the main character, Delia, the only human in the spa where she is the newly-hired manager, to the rest of the characters introduced in this book, one gets the feeling that things and people are not what or who they seem to be and going on this adventure with Delia and company as she discovers more about herself in this sexy narrative is a blast! Eliza March rules!

4.0 out of 5 star shout louder if you love it!
Ok, is it really a spoiler to suggest that Delia might be a bit more than human – I mean seriously. Dating the pack Alpha kinda …and are all the magicians in the family really only related by marriage?
And hey, it is totally an advantage that a possible new manager for the Spa is not a shifter – I mean full moon challenges – hello?
I love the snarky humor, and the oh so Boca-ness of it all. Would it really be a shock if some of the folks involved n the keeping us youthful industry were really magical? It would explain a lot – especially the couture.
Read on if you enjoy humorous chaos, mystery, adventure, and some messed up romance – much funnier when it happens to someone else – especially someone who might be in a position to get herself magically perked up!
Wild and crazy, howlingly funny times ahead!

5.0 out of 5 stars Have you read Eliza March? If not you should!
I have just had the awesome pleasure of reading “Hair of the Were” and “Siren’s Tale” by a wonderful and gifted author. Eliza March blends in humor, sexual tension, and more in a can’t put it down book that will tantalize paranormal readers. This tale, pardon the pun, has it all. Think creatures of the night, creatures of the sea, Fae and water nymphs, and you would have the beginning of Adelaide’s journey in “As the Chair Turns” series. They all work in a totally cool hair and spa facility that caters to…you got it, paranormal creatures. And it doesn’t stop there, her best girlfriends ever are witches, and her best male friend is an alpha werewolf that would have her in his bed if she’d let him. Now, you would think with all of the above, that would be enough, but Delia as her friends call her has a chance at a rocking singing career. A career that could be forestalled by a sea-creature’s attack. Now if that don’t make you want to give up swimming, I don’t know what to tell you, but once you lay eyes on the Coast Guard hottie who makes Delia sing all the right notes, you might change your mind. The only other thing I can possibly add is WHEN IS THE NEXT SAGA OF AS THE CHAIR TURNS COMING OUT?
4.0 out of 5 stars Entertaining, I liked it.
Hair of the Were #1 – This is my first read by this author and I was pleasantly surprised. Her writing style is easy conversational with plenty of humor, starting from the appreciated Introduction about the characters and storylines. I love the idea of the only human working with a group of paranormals in a salon – spa. One of the other humans make me wonder if he’s not a paranormal himself, plus there’s hints of her family that all may not be normal.
There’s plenty of sexual tension between the human and her two love interests, which is more interesting than all the explicit sex running rampant nowadays. I did get bored during the last 35 percent of the story when it was constantly about her need for sex because of something that happened to her. All the characters have something of value to add to this quickly read, interesting story complete with fun ways things are handled. There are dark elements that add intrigue. This is nice read that keeps the reader entertained. 4*
A Siren’s Tail #2 – Picks up after the three month period is completed; about two months after Hair ended. The dark elements are a stronger danger to A, upping the intrigue quota. She’s still sex-crazy, thinks every guy is hot, which bored me with its constant repetition throughout most of the story. R made his announcement and knocked the socks off A. Of course, there’s still F sniffing around and providing protection on land. More paranormals are added to the character list. All the secrets are exposed. If there had been a less constant harping over her sex issues and her unknown status and more plot, Siren’s would not have been so boring and drawn out. 3*

I contacted the author to review her books and received these book through Booksprout.

5.0 out of 5 stars Paranormal Explosion
Hair of the WERE is not totally typical of what one may consider to be a cozy mystery. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about all of the paranormal beings and their ability to work together in a salon. The “love triangle” that is a central part of this book was necessary to have in order to better understand characteristics of the main character. The pace of the story was well thoughtout and did not change as the story progressed. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

4.0 out of 5 stars Managing Paranormals
Delia is a human who applies for the managing position of a famous salon – not knowing that most of the staff and clientele are paranormals. She has a rough awakening when she gets the job and is introduced to the until then unknown side of her hometown.
At about the same time she meets 2 men, who will be important in her life – but when she is bitten by an unknown being in the night, things get really chaotic.
A really funny story of romantic comedy meets a touch of cozy mystery and a big dash of paranormal. A recipe that gives lots of entertainment.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Start to this series

January 26, 2019

Format: Kindle Edition
The first book in the As the Chair Turns series is one that drew me in from the first page a well written story that held my interest throughout. Luna d la Mar Spa had me laughing, but there are suspense, drama, danger, paranormals, wacky people, sirens, weres, and more plus a dead body. This ends on a cliff-hanger. I want to read the next
in the series. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

5.0 out of 5 stars This book was something else!
I really enjoyed this book. I’m not really into the supernatural genre, but this book has changed my mind. I’m not sure who I like best between Frankie and Ric, but Delia has her hands full with those two. I also hope to learn more about Jacques.
